PretendPint. Which beers sold as foreign are brewed in Britain, and what to buy instead. Every claim carries a source and a date; where we have not confirmed something, the page says so.
Brewing a foreign brand under licence in Britain is legal and has been normal since the 1970s. This site records where the beer is made; it does not sell or review beer.
We have taken care to make every entry accurate, and each one is checked against the sources it cites on the date shown. Supply arrangements, strengths and pack wording change, sometimes without announcement, so a page can fall behind the shelf. Nothing here is a statement about the quality of any beer or the conduct of any company. If you represent a brewer or retailer and something is wrong or out of date, write to mark@pretendpint.com and it will be corrected. Read the full accuracy statement.
